Teri Gerson presented two breakout sessions at the annual UAEL convention in Sonoma, CA in May. The topics were: SOURCING, SELECTING AND INTERVIEWING TALENT EFFECTIVELY Recruiting the best employees takes thought and preparation, especially when the industry is a mature one. Everyone in the leasing company has a role to play. This presentation shows effective ways to source, screen, interview, and select motivated employees who can help the company to grow. ASSESSING TALENT TO TURN CHALLENGING TIMES INTO OPPORTUNITIES FOR SUCCESS Unless leaders are faced with glaring deficiencies in staff performance, the tendency is to look at overall productivity rather than individual components. This presentation shows how greater achievement with the same or fewer resources can be realized through critical performance evaluation coupled with corrective redirection and analysis of how current incentives impact focus.
